Hi, I'm Julia and I live in Berlin with my two wonderful kids. I organize MAMAGEHTTANZEN parties in Berlin, Brandenburg, and Magdeburg. Music and dancing have always been my outlet.
When I dance, for a few hours I don't think about anything else – no daycare, no family doctor's appointments, no everyday worries, just the music and the feeling of dancing to the beat with a drink in my hand, just like in the old days, and in great company among all you wonderful women and my friends.
What gives me the most joy is the exchange with you all. When I see strangers smiling at each other on the dance floor, because they instantly realize, hey, she knows the same chaos at home and, just like me, really wants to let loose tonight and have a good time, then I know why I do this. I'm truly grateful and happy that I regularly get together with you moms from my region.
When I'm not at one of my parties, you'll usually find me outdoors. Hiking in the mountains with my kids, lying on the beach with a good book, or playing beach volleyball, and every now and then I pick up a racket and play a round of padel or tennis.
Professionally, I'm also an author; my book THE BREAKUP HEALING GUIDE was published in January.
